David Mir

David Mir devotes his time to painting and sculpting the art pieces mixed with the street art style and high brands.

He started his career in graphic design, illustration, and fashion in LA and forayed into fine art as his passion.

Now many of the world's most well-known street artists are trading in their walls for a new type of canvas… sneakers!  Sneaker art has become a huge trend in the urban art world. Artists like Jeremy Scott, The Killer Gerbil, Keith Haring, and tattoo artist Kat Von D are having their art translated onto sneakers.

Street Art encourages many artists to take their self-expression off the canvas and onto walls, cars, trains, and objects of all types and sizes…right into pop culture. David M is inspired by artists like Tats Cru, Banksy, Invader (Space Invader), Shepard Fairey, Mr. Brainwash (Thierry Guetta), and The Killer Gerbil who have become giants in the street art community.

Artists who have also influenced his work greatly were Jackson Pollock, Basquiat, and Andy Warhol, who acted as inspiration at times make painting shoes as a body of work.

David loves the shape, the movement, and the mood that his art creates entirely on its own.
